CHANGE SSF

We demand justice for Roger Allen & his family.
We ask that the elected leadership of San Mateo County & members of the public to join us in demanding that the City of Daly City & the San Mateo County District Attorney

This letter is in full support of removing School Liaison Officers (SLO) from the South San Francisco Unified School District (SSFUSD) and setting clear parameters in which officers are not to be called to come to any campus unless it is an emergency that requires an officer to be present.

We had initially entered this commission with an open mind and optimism that this commission would be an effective vehicle for change. However, after several consecutive meetings of blatant disrespect and complications, we realize that no real systemic change can occur within this body.

CHANGE SSF is a multi-generational and multicultural coalition which aims to advocate for community empowerment through education and political action.

CHANGE SSF is advocating for the removal of the two SLOs from SSFUSD school campuses because their presence is both physically and emotionally disruptive to a safe learning environment.

We are demanding our City Council to reallocate our funds from the Police Department to encourage the growth of our other Community Departments.
